DEVELOPMENT COMPANY OF TRINIDAD & TOBAGO APPOINTS FLEISHMAN-HILLARD
AS RETAINED PR AGENCY
The Tourism Development Company (TDC) of Trinidad
& Tobago has appointed Fleishman-Hillard’s dedicated
Travel & Tourism Division (FH) to drive PR activity in
the UK & Ireland from September 1, 2007.
The FH team has been briefed to implement a media
relations programme supported by trade and consumer campaigns.
Projects will include publicising the current ‘Take
Time Out’ trade campaign and maximising media opportunities
from the legendary Trinidad & Tobago stand at World Travel
Market, 12-15 November 2007. FH will also be working with
the TDC to publicise the extensive annual calendar of events
that take place on the islands, including Carnival 2008 on
Trinidad and The Tobago Jazz Festival.
Through an integrated and strategic communications
programme FH will help the TDC to position the islands of
Trinidad & Tobago as ‘The True Caribbean’.
Part of this strategy will include hosting an extensive visiting
journalist programme.
