Sir Elton John headlines

Tobago Jazz Festival Sir Elton John, Al Green, Gladys Knight, LL Cool J, Heather Headley and Earth, Wind and Fire are just a few of the international performers appearing at the third Plymouth Jazz Festival on the island of Tobago on the 27th – 29th April. This spectacular event is the only place you’ll hear swinging Rock & Roll, spiritual soul singing and rhythmic R&B together with such legendary musicians.

Set to be even bigger in 2007 than the two previous festivals, revellers are expected to catch the island fever and head to the Plymouth recreation ground to watch their idols perform live against the idyllic west coast backdrop of the world –renowned Turtle Beach in Southwest Tobago.

The open-aired venue features a performing stage with large screens so that all can capture every musical moment and each evening Elton John and friends will be joined by local leading traditional steelbands performers – so get your jazz hands ready to party. To ensure no one goes hungry there will be stalls offering an eclectic mix of diverse local and international fare, that tastes best washed down by the locally produced rum.

For a well needed recovery head to one of the many pristine white beaches on the island for some down time and enjoy the incredible Caribbean weather.
