OVER 115 TRAVEL AGENTS PRE-REGISTERED FOR REX RESORTS’ FIRST ON-LINE TRAINING PROGRAMME SO FAR

Caribbean hotel specialist, rex resorts, has announced that over 115 travel agents so far have pre-registered for ‘rexperts’, its first ever on-line training programme for travel industry professionals, which launched on 31 July.

As part of the pre-registering process, the first 100 agents to pre-register were entered into a prize draw to win one of five i-pod shuffles, worth around £49 each!  The names of the five winners are:  Nicola Farrell from Global Travel in Chester; Sarah Hobbs from Harvey World Travel in Bristol; Tiffany Reynold from Virgin Holidays in Crawley; Adam White from Jetlife in Barnet and Lorayne Evans-Carthy from Travel Counsellors in Blackpool.

Furthermore, rex resorts is offering a great incentive for travel agents, whereby they receive a free night at a rex resort as soon as they complete their online training course with rexperts and receive their certificate.  They then receive a further free night at a rex resort for their first logged booking, as well as a further five free room nights for a further 25 bookings they make and log online.  This means that agents just need to book a total of 27 bookings in order to receive a total of seven nights free!

The ‘rexperts’ online training programme is located at www.rexpertsonline.com and the course will include a module on each of rex resorts’ properties in the Caribbean, on the islands of Antigua, Barbados, Grenada, St Lucia and Tobago. A module on rex safaris in Kenya and Tanzania will be launched in September.

The launch of ‘rexperts’ will also be celebrated with a special event for agents taking place on 20 August at the Park City Hotel, London.
